At Degoo, we work hard to ensure your files are safe, private, and always accessible.
Below is an overview of how we protect and maintain your data.

🔒 Security

Security is our top priority. We use multiple layers of encryption and authentication to safeguard your files.

256-bit AES encryption
All files are stored using 256-bit AES, the same encryption standard trusted by banks and governments.
Secure transfers (SSL/TLS)
All communication between your device and Degoo servers is protected by an encrypted SSL/TLS connection.
Password hardening
Passwords are processed with PBKDF2 before storage and further protected using HMAC512 with a secret pepper key.
This makes it nearly impossible for anyone to reverse or guess your credentials.

🛡️ These combined techniques ensure your files remain private and inaccessible to anyone but you.

⚙️ Reliability

We store multiple copies of all your files in secure and redundant data centers.
This guarantees that your files are always available whenever you need them.
